BikeLNK is public transportation, reimagined.

BikeLNK allows you to ‘rent’ a bike for short periods of time, providing a great method of transportation for running brief errands or travelling to work.

Purchasing a ride

Rides can either be purchased in short increments directly at a BikeLNK docking station, or a membership can be purchased online. There are a variety of different membership levels offered – ranging from unlimited 1-hour rides for 24 hours, to unlimited 1-hour rides for an entire year.

Docking stations

There are 21 docking stations throughout downtown Lincoln, as well as on UNL’s East Campus. Bikes are first come first serve – to return a bike, simply press the front wheel into the docking station, and wait until you hear 3 beeps and see flashing lights.

Bcycle app

Bcycle – the company that organizes and runs Lincoln’s BikeLNK program – has an app available to streamline your bike share experience. Visit the link below to learn how to pay through your phone, watch an animation on how to rent a bike, get a map of docking stations and bike routes, and more!

E-bikes

Already have a big day planned? Skip the pedaling by using a BikeLNK electric bike, which can be found and docked alongside pedal-based BikeLNK bikes.

UNL students, staff, and faculty

UNL students, staff, and faculty are offered a discounted “Aluminum Access” membership – for only $10/year, you can have access to unlimited 1-hour trips throughout the year. Instructions for signing up and the promo code can be found below.
