More information
Lincoln’s Complete Streets Committee
The City of Lincoln has an internal committee dedicated to ensuring that Lincoln’s streets are designed for all modes of transportation – walking, biking, driving, taking the bus, and beyond. In addition to other duties, this committee is given a small annual budget to work on complete streets oriented projects.
Bike rack request program
Funding dependent, the Complete Streets Committee offers a program where Lincoln business and property owners can request a bike rack to be installed at or near their property. If approved, inverted “U”-style racks are then installed at the designated location. All that is required to start is to fill out the form on the Complete Streets website, linked below!
